In the family of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi, a picture of political divide has come out before the assembly elections. Elder son Tej Pratap Yadav shared the election symbol and slogan of his new party ‘Janshakti Janata Dal’.
His party’s election symbol is a black board. Along with this, yellow and green theme is kept. Interestingly, there is no picture of father Lalu Yadav and mother Rabri Devi on the poster.

The party posters have a picture of Mahatma Gandhi, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Karpoori Thakur, Lohia and JP Narayan. Tej Pratap Yadav has described himself as the national president of the party and has given the slogan of ‘social justice, social rights and complete changes’. Along with this, it was written on the poster, “The power of the people, the rule of the people will develop Bihar, Tej Pratap.”

Tej Pratap Yadav wrote on X, “We are fully dedicated and ready for the complete development of Bihar. Our aim is to make a new system of new system by making complete changes in Bihar. We are ready to fight a long battle for the entire development of Bihar.
Why was Tej Pratap Yadav removed from RJD?
Tej Pratap Yadav is currently RJD MLA from Hasanpur seat in Samastipur district. In May 2025, Tej Pratap posted a post on social media in which he claimed that he was in a relationship with Anushka Yadav.
Dissatisfaction increased about this post and Lalu Yadav said about Tej Pratap that it is not compatible with family values and traditions. He fired from RJD for six years. Since then, Tej Pratap Yadav has been targeting without naming anyone in the family.
He formed an organization amid displeasure and is constantly visiting the areas. His plan is to field candidates in more and more assembly seats. Tej Pratap Yadav has also been angry with younger brother Tejashwi Yadav getting political legacy.
