Patna Police has arrested Janata Dal United (JDU) candidate Anant Singh on Saturday night in the case of murder of Jansuraj Party worker Dularchand Yadav on October 30 in Mokama, Bihar. Now politics has started on the arrest of Anant Singh. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav had reacted to the arrest of Anant Singh. Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has hit back at Tejashwi Yadav’s statement.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has reacted to RJD leader Tejashwi’s statement on the arrest of Anant Singh on Sunday (November 2, 2025) in Bettiah in West Champaran district of Bihar. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Tejashwi himself will go to jail on corruption charges.

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “He (Tejashwi Yadav) himself will be in jail. He is being accused of corruption. He has written land in exchange for a job, think about whether he will be able to save himself from going to jail or not.” Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “Action is taken against anyone who commits corruption, commits crimes, commits mafia. This is good governance, this is Nitish Kumar’s government, he will do it.”

What did Tejashwi Yadav say on the arrest of Anant Singh?

On the arrest of JDU candidate Anant Singh, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that the arrest was bound to happen, given the kind of incident that had happened. Tejashwi claimed to form grand alliance government

Apart from this, Tejashwi Yadav has also claimed that a grand alliance government is going to be formed in Bihar. Our government will be sworn in on 18th November. Tejashwi Yadav said that between November 26 and January 26, all the criminals in Bihar will be arrested. Whatever caste the criminals belong to, everyone will be arrested after the government is formed.
