A couple living in Arepalli area has been arrested by the police for operating a large network of ‘honeytrap’ and blackmailing. This couple put aside their morals to get out of the quagmire of debt and till now have trapped around 1500 men in their net.
Investigation has revealed that the accused wife used to attract men through handles like ‘Lallydimplequeen’ on Instagram and ‘Karimnagar pilla 143’ on YouTube. She would instigate people for friendship through sweet talks and glamorous pictures and then invite them to her room. According to the information, the accused woman had physical relations with about 100 men, while her husband used to secretly record videos of these moments. These videos were later used to blackmail those men and extort huge amounts of money from them.
Bought land with blackmailing money
The black money earned from this street business made the couple rich overnight. With the blackmailing money, he bought a land (plot) worth Rs 65 lakh in Arepalli, bought a luxurious car worth Rs 10 lakh and installed expensive furniture worth lakhs in his house. According to the police, he achieved all this within just a few months.
Lorry businessman showed courage after being repeatedly blackmailed
This disgusting game was exposed when a lorry businessman from Karimnagar showed courage. The accused had already collected Rs 13 lakh from the victim businessman by blackmailing him. When the couple’s hunger increased further and they again demanded Rs 5 lakh, and also threatened to make the video viral and kill the family, the businessman took refuge in the police.
The police took immediate action and arrested the couple. Mobile phones with objectionable videos, cash, and several blank checks have been recovered from them. During interrogation it was revealed that all this was done in the obsession of repaying the loan and living a luxurious life.
