Angry villagers blocked Bettiah-Nautan main road
The villagers blocked the Bettiah-Nautan main road with the help of bamboo sticks, wood and barricades, due to which traffic came to a standstill for about two hours. Nautan and the police from nearby police stations reached the spot and tried to convince the people and the situation gradually came under control. However, tension remained in the entire area during the jam and people kept demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
Police named six people
While filing a complaint with the police, Rahul’s mother Kamalavati Devi has named six people from Baswariya and Sansarai villages namely Ambedkar Patel, Hrithik Kumar, Bablu Patel, Golu Yadav, Amit Yadav and Jhunjhun Kumar along with five-six other unknown people. It is alleged in the complaint that Jhunjhun Kumar called Rahul out of the house and after that he was attacked and killed as part of a conspiracy. The family says that the accused first hit Rahul’s motorcycle and then attacked his head and body with an iron rod and bike shock-absorber pipe. Rahul’s condition had deteriorated significantly due to serious head injuries.
The shocking thing is that after the incident, the accused called Rahul’s family and informed them that he had met with an accident. The police is calling it a conspiracy to murder and is investigating from multiple angles, in which the possibility of old enmity and personal dispute is also being raised.
