The ongoing controversy regarding the India-Pakistan match before the T20 World Cup 2026 now seems to be going beyond cricket and taking a serious form. After Pakistan’s announcement of boycott of the match and ICC’s strict warning on it, now a Pakistani YouTuber’s video has created a stir at the international level. In this video going viral on social media, YouTuber has given objectionable and threatening statements regarding the ICC office.
Video viral, questions raised on language
It is being told that this video is of Pakistani YouTuber Arsalan Nasir, in which he is seen making sharp remarks against ICC and BCCI and threatening to blow it up with a bomb. In this video of about 15 minutes, he has used such words, which cannot be taken lightly. The video has been uploaded with the tags ‘comedy’ and ‘cricket review’, but its language and tone appear completely offensive. For this reason, strong reactions are being seen on social media.
Comment on Indian cricketer also
Not only this, in the viral video, YouTuber has also targeted some big names related to Indian cricket. Especially resentment is being seen on social media regarding the comments made about Indian T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav. Many users have called it a statement that crosses limits.
Frustrated by ICC’s warning?
This whole matter heated up when Pakistan refused to play the T20 World Cup match against India to be held on 15 February. The match is fixed in Colombo, Sri Lanka. ICC has made it clear that if Pakistan does not play the match as per the scheduled schedule, a heavy fine can be imposed on it. Apart from this, steps like reduction in ICC revenue and further ban can also be taken. It is believed that after this warning the dispute flared up further.
Speculation of backdoor talks
Some media reports have claimed that internal talks are going on between ICC and Pakistan Cricket Board to resolve the dispute regarding Pakistan’s boycott of India’s match. A formal decision can be taken on this in the coming days.
