In Myanmar and Thailand, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred on the Rickover Paiman, causing huge havoc in both countries. Many buildings collapsed in Thailand’s capital Bangkok. At the same time, a bridge over the river in Myanmar collapsed. Social media has revealed many scary videos of damage caused by this earthquake.
A person trapped in debris, pleading for help from people
In Bangkok, a video of a worker trapped in the debris of a collapsed building in Bangkok has surfaced, in which he is seen pleading for help. While sharing this video social media, the user has claimed that about 43 people are buried in this debris. However, ABP News does not confirm this video. In a video of Bangkok city, a multi-storey building is seen collapsing and the people present there are running away screaming.
According to the report of the news agency Associated Press, after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake, Myanmar’s army has imposed emergency in many parts of the country. After a powerful earthquake in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, light tremors were also felt in Kolkata and Imphal on Friday. The US Geological Survey and the GFZ Geology Center of Germany reported that the earthquake in the afternoon occurred at a depth of 10 km (6.2 mi), which was the center of the neighboring country Myanmar.

People’s rescue from airport
People were rescued from Mandley Airport in Myanmar after strong earthquake. In the video that went viral on social media, there was a stampede -like situation after the alert alarm played at the airport. The bridge over the Iravati river of Mara also fell, due to which the connectivity to two cities also broke.
