According to a report in Hindustan Times, trade analysts have predicted a good opening for Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s film ‘Thamaa’ on Diwali and the first day collection is estimated to be around Rs 18-20 crore.
‘Thama’ has reportedly released in 4,000 screens across India. With no other Hindi film releasing on Diwali, it has every chance of earning a good opening day, but it is unlikely to be on par with last year’s blockbuster releases like Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ (Rs 35 crore) or Ajay Devgan’s ‘Singham Returns’ (Rs 32 crore).
