Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy film ‘Thamaa’ had a bang at the box office. For two weeks, the film consistently performed well and maintained its hold. ‘Thama’, which was already competing with ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, again got a setback from many films including the newly released Baahubali The Epic and its pace at the ticket window started slowing down. Now it has entered the third week. Let us know here how much collection has ‘Thama’ made on the 17th day of its release i.e. third Thursday?

How much did ‘Thama’ earn on the 17th day?
Diwali released romantic horror comedy thriller ‘Thama’ has created a lot of buzz at the box office. This film of Maddock’s horror universe scared the audience and made them laugh a lot in the theaters and hence the audience kept crowding in the theaters to watch it for two weeks. But now after entering the third week, its grip on the box office seems to be loosening and with this its earnings are also decreasing. Talking about the collection of the film, it had crossed Rs 100 crore in the first week itself and it had collected a total of Rs 108.4 crore.

Subsequently, in the second week, the film’s earnings increased by 46 percent on Saturday and earned Rs 4.4 crore, followed by a slight increase of Rs 4.5 crore on Sunday to reach Rs 4.5 crore. Then on the second Monday it earned Rs 1.5 crore and while Tuesday’s collection was Rs 2.25 crore, on the second Wednesday it earned Rs 1.9 crore.

  • According to the early trend report of Sacknilk, ‘Thama’ has earned Rs 1 crore on the 17th day of its release i.e. third Thursday.
  • With this, the total earning of ‘Thama’ in 17 days has now reached Rs 126.95 crore.

‘Thama’ is now so far away from defeating Stree and Sikandar?
Of course, there is a decline in the earnings of ‘Thama’ but now it is inches away from beating the lifetime collections of two big films. One of them is the blockbuster film Stree of Maddock’s horror universe and the other is Sikandar. Let us tell you that ‘Thama’ has earned approximately Rs 127 crores and once it earns Rs 3 crore more, it will beat Stree’s net lifetime collection in India of Rs 129.83 crores. To surpass Sikandar’s net lifetime collection of Rs 129.95 crore in India, it needs to earn Rs 3 crore more.
