Meanwhile, in the report of news agency IANS, it has been said that in IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals matches can be played in Pune. In the next season, Pune can be the home ground of RR team, which till now was Jaipur. According to sources, the deal between Maharashtra Cricket Association and Rajasthan Royals is close to being signed.
Due to ongoing differences with the Rajasthan Cricket Association, the Rajasthan Royals franchise has decided not to make Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh Stadium its home ground for the next season. These differences arose when an official of the Rajasthan Cricket Association accused the RR franchise of match fixing. The Rajasthan team had rejected these allegations and also demanded strict action against the wrong allegations.
It is also being told that Baraspara Stadium of Guwahati can be the second home ground of Rajasthan Royals team and its announcement is also possible very soon.
