Recently during a program he discussed in detail about his health, success and daily routine. He told how by adopting a simple lifestyle and yoga, any person can remain free from serious diseases.

Importance of waking up in Brahmamuhurta

Baba Ramdev’s day starts in ‘Brahmamuhurta’ (between 3 and 4 in the morning). He believes that waking up early in the morning provides new energy to the body and mind. After waking up, they first pay obeisance to Mother Earth and their Gurus and then drink lukewarm water, which keeps the stomach clean and detoxifies the body.

Yoga and meditation: basis of the day

The most important part of Baba Ramdev’s daily routine is yoga and meditation. He says that he meditates for one hour every day, which is essential for mental peace and stress relief. After this they regularly practice yogasanas like Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom and Surya Namaskar. According to him, yoga not only makes the body flexible but also provides protection from chronic diseases like diabetes, obesity and heart diseases.

Satvik and natural diet

In the matter of food, Baba Ramdev is a staunch supporter of ‘Satvik diet’. They include only fresh fruits, green vegetables and foods obtained from natural sources in their diet. He made it clear that junk food is like poison for the body. Vegetarian food helps in balancing the three main doshas of the body – Vata, Pitta and Kapha, due to which diseases do not occur.

Baba Ramdev’s message is clear that if you want to be healthy, then return to nature. Ayurveda, regular yoga and balanced eating habits are the keys to a long and healthy life. By adopting these habits, not only can the body be kept healthy, but mental clarity and success can also be achieved.
