If both remain in good form, the bowlers will have to work hard to deal with them. Tilak Verma and Suryakumar Yadav may get the same batting position which they have got in Team India. However, in the last matches of the T20 World Cup, Tilak was sent to the lower middle order.
Will Jacques is in tremendous form in the middle order, coming into the World Cup scoring 226 runs at a stormy strike rate of 176.5. After him, captain Hardik Pandya and then spin bowling all-rounder Naman Dheer may get a chance. Naman Dheer was retained by Mumbai for Rs 5.25 crore. Mitchell Santner can come after him, which means Mumbai will have regular batting options till number-8.
Will Jacques, Mitchell Santner and Naman Dheer will be the three spin bowling options. Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar can handle the load of fast bowling. The fourth fast bowling option will be captain Hardik Pandya himself.
