The demand for the entire state status of Jammu and Kashmir is gaining momentum. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has written a letter to all the big parties demanding to raise the issue in Parliament.

The CM said in Srinagar on Wednesday (August 6), “I have written a letter to all the parties who have many MPs and I have requested that the full state with Jammu and Kashmir should help us in the promise that has been promised. Raise this issue vigorously in Parliament. So that the bills come in this session and Jammu and Kashmir get state status.

Omar Abdullah said, “This is not a matter of one party or a ruling. The full state was promised with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. This promise was also made in rallies, it was also made before the Supreme Court. It was also done in Parliament, now we want this promise to be fulfilled now.

What did Omar Abdullah say on the hearing in the Supreme Court?

Regarding the hearing on the petition to restore state status in the Supreme Court, he said, “The hearing will be held on the 8th. The Supreme Court had said in the judgment on August 5 that Jammu and Kashmir should be given state status at the earliest. It has been so many years as soon as possible. If the Supreme Court had not imposed time for the election, I would not have been talking to you today as the Chief Minister. Today elections were held, because the Supreme Court imposed time banned. ‘

CM’s statement on Dharali disaster

Regarding the situation after the Pahalgam terror attack, the CM said, “After the April 22 attack, the number of tourists is increasing here. Four lakh people performed the Amarnath Yatra. Tourists will take advantage of the guests of the people of Kashmir. ”

On the disaster in Dharli in Uttarakhand, Omar Abdullah said, “We are cleaning the forests, cutting the mountains. I think we are also in danger. We have to take care of it. We have condolences to the people of Uttarakhand. ”
