The approach part of the bridge built by the State Setu Nigam Sanstha in Balmik River in Bhauri-Baghwara Road of Chitrakoot collapsed due to rain. This bridge was built at a cost of Rs 10 crore. This bridge has already collapsed before the inauguration. At the same time, former Uttar Pradesh CM and SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the state government and Bharatiya Janata Party.
SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav wrote on X, “The bridge of Chitrakoot, built at a cost of 10 crores in the BJP rule, fell before the inauguration. The corruption of the BJP is falling into a lot of corruption… Kabhi tank, sometimes a bridge…” The questions have started raising questions about the bridge that fell before the inauguration in Chitrakoot.
Traffic affected on Bhunri-Dehuchmafi-Rajapur route
In fact, due to torrential rains in the past, the approach of the bridge over the Bardha river of Kalyanpur village was washed away due to the torrential rains. Due to the bridge razing, traffic on the Bhunri-Dehruchamafi-Rajapur road has been affected. Traffic on the bridge has been stopped by the Chitrakoot administration.
BJP’s corruption exposed- SP leader
At the same time, former Samajwadi Party District President Anuj Yadav has strongly attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party on this matter. The former SP District President has said that the corruption of the Bharatiya Janata Party has been revealed. The bridge is so dangerous that a big accident could have happened. The Bharatiya Janata Party is only building a bridge of air, all the bridges are testifying to corruption. CP Diwakar, Deputy Project Manager from the same Setu Nigam, has informed about this on the phone that the contractor has been sent on the spot. The road has collapsed with the soil of the side, it will be repaired soon.
