There is big news for lakhs of students studying in government schools of Delhi. The schedule of annual examinations of government schools of the capital has been released. The Directorate of Education has made it clear that this year the examinations will start from February 10 and will continue till March 18. Regarding this, preparations have intensified in schools and discussions regarding the examination have started among students as well as parents.
According to the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Education, the examinations will be conducted with complete transparency and rules. To ensure that there is no negligence during the examination, the officials themselves will go to the schools and conduct surprise inspections. Its purpose is to ensure that all students get an opportunity to take the examination in a calm and fair environment.
The examination will start from 10th February. On this day, examination of class 11th students in subjects like Information Technology, Retail and Tourism will be conducted. These are the subjects in which a large number of students are studying. After this, skill subject examination of class 9th students will be held on 11th February. The Education Department believes that focusing on skill-based education is the need of the hour, hence the examination of these subjects will also be conducted with equal seriousness.
What instructions were given?
After this, there will be an examination for the main subject Hindi of class 11th on 17th February. Special preparation is already being seen among the students regarding Hindi subject, because it is considered an important subject. 19th February will also be very important, because on this day examinations of main subjects of students of class 8th, 9th and 11th will be conducted. Due to examinations of many classes being held on the same day, the school administration has also been instructed to keep the arrangements in order.
When will the examinations start?
The Directorate of Education has also said that the examinations for main subjects from class 3 to class 8 will start from February 26. For small children, the time and method of examination has been decided according to their age and understanding, so that there is not much pressure on them. The department says that maintaining the self-confidence of children is as important as taking exams.
What will be the time?
Clear information has also been given regarding the timing of the examination. The examinations for students of classes 3 to 5 will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. At the same time, the exam time for students of classes 6 to 8 has been fixed from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Students of class 9th and 11th have been given a little more time. The examinations of these classes will run from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
