Actually, three sisters living in Bharat City Society of Sahibabad, whose age was around 12, 14 and 16 years. Was immersed in mobile gaming for a long time. It was told that she neither went to school nor met anyone outside. All three had even kept Korean names for themselves and started following Korean culture. According to the family, when their father objected to their gaming habit and snatched away their mobile phone, all three went under deep mental pressure. After which he committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of the flat. A suicide note was also found from the spot, in which it was written, Mom and Dad, sorry… I am not able to leave the game. In such a situation, let us now tell you that if a child plays online games, are thoughts of suicide coming in his mind and if you see what signs, then you should be alerted.

What is Korean Love Game?

According to experts, Korean Love Game is an online game in which an unknown person contacts the user through social media. Calling himself a Korean, he talks about friendship and love. After winning the trust, he starts giving small tasks. In the beginning the tasks are easy, but gradually they become difficult and increase mental pressure. If the user refuses to complete the task, he is threatened and intimidated. There are about 50 tasks in this type of game, which last for several days.

How do online games affect the minds of children?

Experts say that the brains of children and teenagers are not fully developed. In such a situation, they start considering the characters and challenges of the game as the real world. The pressure of completing the task, fear and fear of defeat weakens their decision making ability. Apart from this, according to American psychologist Jean M. Twenge’s book iGen, since 2011, there has been a rapid increase in cases of depression and suicide among youth due to online gaming and social media addiction.

Their screen time should be monitored and parental controls should be used on the smartphone. With the help of parental control, children’s games, apps and online content can be limited. With this they can stay away from dangerous games and challenges.
