The company running DMart earned a huge profit of Rs 685 crore, shares will be in focus on Monday.


Avenue Supermarts Share: Shares of Avenue Supermarts Ltd, the operator of retail chain Dmart, will be in focus on Monday. The company announced its quarterly results on Saturday. During this period, the company’s net profit jumped by 3.85 percent to Rs 684.85 crore. Whereas in the same quarter last year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 659.44 crore.

Company’s revenue also increased in September quarter

The company’s operational revenue increased by 15.45 percent to Rs 16,676.30 crore this year as compared to Rs 14,444.50 crore in the July-September quarter of last year. The PAT (Profit After Tax) margin in the second quarter of the financial year 2026 was 4.1 percent, whereas in the second quarter of the financial year 2025 it was 4.6 percent. During the September quarter, the company’s total expense increased by 16 percent to Rs 15,751.08 crore, while total income stood at Rs 16,695.87 crore, which is 15.3 percent more than last year.

The number of DMart stores is increasing

Commenting on the company’s performance, Anshul Asawa, CEO of Avenue Supermarts Limited, said, our revenue in the second quarter of the financial year 2026 increased by 15.4 percent as compared to last year. Profit after tax (PAT) increased by 5.1 percent compared to last year. DMart business of two years and older grew by 6.8 percent in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025. Following the government’s recent announcement on GST reforms, we passed on the benefit of lower GST rates to all our customers. We opened 8 new stores during this quarter. By September 30, 2025, our total stores will be 432.
