Setback for Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump has suffered a shock. The US court has stayed the orders of the Trump administration, which banned the admission of foreign students at Harvard University. Earlier, two cases were filed by Harvard objecting to the case.
In a complaint filed in Boston’s court on Friday (May 23, 2025), Harvard said that prohibiting admission of foreign students is a clear violation of the US Constitution and other federal laws, as well as it will have an immediate and very bad effect on the university and more than 7,000 visa holders. Harvard said, “The government has tried to abolish a quarter of Harvard student-number with a shock of a pen who is international students and who contribute significantly to the university and its mission.”
