Panther had come to human settlement by mistake
The incident took place in Nifad area early at the beginning of the week. Eyewitnesses said that a leopard had mistakenly come towards the human settlement. Then a stray dog present there suddenly pounced on it. The dog’s attack was so fast and suddenly that the leopard got nervous. He kept trying to get himself out, but the dog caught him and dragged him far away. Eventually the leopard somehow rescued himself and ran towards the nearby fields. The dog also suffered injuries in this fight, but he survived. It is a matter of relief that no human or villager was harmed in this whole incident.
