On Friday (May 23, 2025) in the Tibet region of China, there was a strong earthquake in the morning. Earthquake tremors were felt in Tibet at 9.27 am. Its intensity on the Richter scale has been measured at 4.2. The National Earthquake Science Center (NCS) has given information about this. The center of the earthquake was near China and Nepal border. Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt in Tibet.
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 20 km from the ground. After the earthquake, no loss of life and property has been confirmed so far. The concerned agencies are keeping an eye on the situation. Earlier, on the night of May 12, the earthquake was felt strongly at around 2.41 minutes. Its intensity on the Richter scale was measured 5.7. The National Earthquake Science Center (NCS) gave this information. After the earthquake, people came out of their house. However, no news of loss of life and property was revealed.
