All schools will be closed every Monday during the month of Sawan in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This decision has been taken by the district administration keeping in mind the safety and traffic control of the students due to the upcoming Kanwar Yatra and religious activities. Ujjain Collector Roshan Kumar Singh has issued an official order in this regard. According to the information received from the Collector Office, this decision will be applicable from July 14 to August 19, that is, every Monday of the period of Sawan, there will be a holiday in all government and private schools of Ujjain district. However, to make up for these holidays, the respective schools have been instructed to organize classes on Sunday, so that there is no disruption in the academic session.
Schools will be closed in these districts
The administration has clarified that this decision has been taken only for the purpose of maintaining the convenience and traffic system of the students, so that the students do not have to face any problem in any congestion or unexpected situation. Especially in areas where Kavad Yatra and religious events are more during Sawan, there is a lot of traffic pressure from morning to evening. Apart from this, orders have been issued to stop schools in many districts of Uttar Pradesh like Badaun, Bareilly, Varanasi on Monday as well as Saturday during Sawan. According to DM’s order, students are getting discharged on Saturday -Monday, while teachers and staff will be at work.
Because of this, the step was taken, the opposition said the attack
It is noteworthy that a large number of devotees visit the Mahakaleshwar temple every Monday in the month of Sawan. Apart from this, Kanwar Yatras also pass through various routes of the district, which affects traffic. In view of this, it has been decided to keep the schools closed, but the opposition leaders have attacked the administration and the government, saying that this is a question on inclination and traditional secularism in favor of a particular religion.
