The budget of the film was said to be around Rs 150 crore, but the film could not even reach its budget at the box office. According to media reports, the film’s collection was around Rs 135 crore worldwide.

Before this, four sequels of the film have been released, but despite being a multi-starrer, the film ‘Housefull 5’ did not succeed in earning much at the box office. The film’s total nationwide collection was Rs 179.75 crore, while the film was made with a budget of Rs 240 crore. The film earned very little even at the global level. The film may not be called a flop, but it can be called average.

The sequel of the 2018 film ‘Dhadak’, ‘Dhadak 2’ was also released this year. The romance of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Trupti Dimri was shown in the film. The film could not even meet its budget. The film was released on 1 August.

The sequel of Ajay Devgan’s comedy film ‘Son of Sardar’, ‘Son of Sardar-2’ was released on 1 August. The budget of the film was Rs 130 crore, but the film remained limited to Rs 44.9 crore at the box office. Ajay Devgan’s comedy in the film also could not win the hearts of the audience this time. Mrinal Thakur, Roshni Walia and Ravi Kishan also play important roles in the film.

Hrithik Roshan’s action film ‘War 2’ also did not do well at the box office. The film also featured Junior NTR and Kiara Advani, but still the film was a flop. The budget of ‘War 2’ was Rs 400 crore. According to media reports, the film could earn only Rs 244.29 crore at the domestic box office and the total earning of the film was Rs 303 crore. The film was released on 14 August.

Tiger Shroff’s film ‘Baaghi’, released on September 5, was very much liked. Not only this, the second part of the film was also liked by the audience, but ‘Baaghi 4’ released this year proved to be a flop at the box office. According to media reports, the film was able to collect Rs 67.07 crore at the box office, whereas the budget of the film was Rs 80 crore. Whereas films like ‘Taare Zameen Par-2’ and ‘Raid-2’ were included in the hit films of this year.
