It is noteworthy that despite the good performance, the box office collection of the sequel is much less than the original ‘The Kerala Story’ of 2023. In its first week, the Hindi version of the original film earned around Rs 81.14 crore and crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. It also earned extra money from its Telugu-dubbed release, putting it on track to make a lifetime net collection of Rs 241.74 crore in India. With an additional Rs 15 crore from the overseas market, the film’s worldwide gross total was approximately Rs 302 crore.
