The only information available so far is that it could be a health tracker, which will be launched with a built-in Meta AI assistant. Built-in camera can also be provided in it. It is being said in some reports that Meta’s smartwatch can come with a detachable form factor, so that it can be integrated with other devices of Meta also.
Did work on this start again because of AI boom?
Meta had stopped work on smartwatches about 4 years ago for cost-cutting. Now due to AI boom, many products including smartwatches can be seen in the market. It is being speculated that Meta’s smartwatch will work with the company’s Meta Ray-Ban Display smart glasses.
