India’s legendary boxer Mary Kom has talked about what she calls the darkest phase of her life. Actually, in the year 2023, she got divorced from Karung Onkholer. Mary Kom has targeted her critics and also said that she had made a big mistake in understanding her partner.
Mary Kom has been world champion 6 times and has also been an Olympic medalist once. The veteran boxer told that he was defrauded of crores of rupees and how he also had to lose the ownership rights of the land which he had bought with his own money.

According to news agency PTI, Mary Kom said that she was defrauded of crores of rupees. He said, “They kept taking loans, by mortgaging my property, which they had got registered in their name. They also borrowed money from the local people of Churachandpur, and to recover from them, people have taken over that land through secret gangs.”
When Karung Onkholer was asked about all this, he said that he had not done anything wrong.

Mary Kom further said, “There have been reports in which I have been called greedy, who forced my husband to contest the 2022 Manipur elections. I have done no such thing. The things that happened only between me and him are being published in such a way that I can be portrayed as a villain. My character was also questioned, so I had to break my silence at some point.”
She also said, “What is the use of my achievements? I am completely heartbroken, but I don’t even have time to mourn. I have four children to take care of.”
