Indian all-rounder Amanjot Kaur has dismissed all the rumors about her grandmother’s death. When the Women’s World Cup was going on, claims were rife that Amanjot Kaur’s grandmother Bhagwanti Kaur had passed away. It was said that despite this sad news, Amanjot had shown dedication towards the country in the World Cup. Now this all-rounder player has dismissed all these rumors by sharing a post on social media.
In the World Cup final held on 2 November, India defeated South Africa by 52 runs. Amanjot has urged people not to spread any wrong news related to him.
The news of grandmother’s death is a lie
Amanjot Kaur shared a picture of her grandparents together on social media. She wrote in the caption, “I want to tell that my grandmother is alive and her health is also good. Please do not believe in rumors and do not spread false news. Many thanks to all those who expressed concern about grandmother’s health.”

Amanjot Kaur showed excellent performance for Team India in the World Cup. He scored 146 runs in 7 matches at an average of 36.50. His highest score in the World Cup was 57 runs. He also made a good contribution in bowling and took 6 wickets. His statistics do not look very good, but he worked to take Team India closer to victory by playing short innings and taking wickets on important occasions.
Amanjot Kaur made her international cricket debut in the year 2023 and since then has remained an integral part of the Indian team.
