Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Jaunpur, and Sant Ravidas Nagar of Purvanchal may receive light to moderate rains. There are also chances of rain in Basti, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, and Hardoi of the Terai region. However, the possibility of heavy rains in these districts is low.
Weather of Central UP and Lucknow
Lucknow will be cloudy in the next 24 hours, and there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains. The maximum temperature can be 30 degrees and the minimum can be 25 ° C. There will also be rain in Pratapgarh, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, and Fatehpur in Central UP. Waterlogging and traffic may be affected in some areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is less chances of rain in some parts of Eastern UP like Ballia, Azamgarh, and Mau, and the weather may be mostly dry. While these areas will be cloudy.
120 mm to 180 mm rainfall
In the last 24 hours, Amethi, Sambhal, Bareilly, and Aligarh recorded 120–180 mm rainfall, which increased the water level of the rivers and created waterlogging. The Meteorological Department has advised the administration to fix drainage and traffic system.
