Today on Thursday (October 16, 2025), a 7 minute 55 second video of its chief Noor Wali Mehsud alias Abu Mansoor Asim was released by Omar Media, the official channel of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), according to which Noor Wali Mehsud is living in the hilly area of Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, and not in Afghanistan. Along with this, in the video released by Tehreek-e-Taliban, Noor Wali Mehsud claimed that the Kuki Khel and Kanbar Khel tribes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are with it.
