Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who went out to campaign in view of Bihar Assembly elections, addressed a huge public meeting organized in Hayaghat Assembly constituency of Darbhanga district on Wednesday (October 29, 2025). This public meeting took place in the premises of Ramsharan Lakshminarayan College located in Nimethi village of Baheri block, where Rajnath Singh campaigned in support of BJP candidate Ramchandra Prasad. During this, he made a scathing attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav.
‘The promise of job at every home is a lie and deception’
The Defense Minister said that Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of giving ‘one job to every household’ is just an illusion. He said, ‘It is not possible to provide jobs to 2 crore 80 lakh people. Power cannot be gained by lying to the public. Our government is trying to connect every household with work and employment. Rajnath Singh also said that BJP does politics of working and not making promises to the public, whereas the opposition is only showing false dreams.
Strict stance shown on terrorism and Pakistan also
In his speech, Rajnath Singh also raised the issue of terrorism and Pakistan. He said, ‘After the Pulwama attack, our army gave a befitting reply to the enemies. We killed more terrorists than we could count, but did not kill even a single innocent Pakistani citizen. This is our policy of justice and humanity. He stressed that BJP’s politics is not based on caste but on justice and humanity.
‘Credit for the development of Bihar goes to the double engine government’
The Defense Minister gave credit for the development taking place in Bihar to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said, ‘The double engine government of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken Bihar forward on the path of development. There has been unprecedented change in the fields of roads, electricity, education and employment.
