Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday, January 25, said his government will fulfill its promise of giving Rs 1,000 to every woman, for which provisions will be made in the next budget of the state.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating a tourism project at Saleran Dam, CM Bhagwant Mann stressed that the Aam Aadmi Party government is creating employment by developing the tourist destinations of Punjab. He said, ‘The promise of giving Rs 1,000 to every woman in the Punjab budget will be fulfilled.’
Assurance was given on Makar Sankranti
Speaking at the state-level Maghi Mela meeting at Sri Muktsar Sahib on January 14, CM Mann had assured that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s election promise of providing Rs 1,000 per month to every woman in the state would soon be fulfilled.
You will get unconditional free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh.
CM Bhagwant Mann also said that under the Chief Minister Health Scheme launched by the Aam Aadmi Party government, every section will get free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh without any conditions. Government employees and pensioners will also be able to take advantage of this scheme. The health of the people of the state is the top priority of the Aam Aadmi Party.
AAP preparing for Punjab Assembly elections
It is noteworthy that assembly elections are about to come in Punjab. Meanwhile, the promise of Rs 1,000 given to women may prove beneficial for the Aam Aadmi Party government. Under this, every woman of the state is to be given one thousand rupees.
Will there also be talk of paying 3 years’ dues?
Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa alleges that despite promising, the AAP government did not give Rs 1,000 to the women on time. In such a situation, now the dues of the last three years should also be given to the women.
