In the viral video, a woman is seen pleading for help while holding Rohit Sharma’s hand. The incident took place when Rohit was entering the team hotel.

It can be seen in the viral video that the woman breaks the security cordon and reaches Rohit Sharma. In the video, the woman can also be heard saying that she had contacted the former Indian captain so that he could help her ailing daughter. Who is reportedly fighting a serious disease, for the treatment of which she needs an injection worth Rs 9 crore.
The woman gave information in a new video released on social media
My name is Sarita Sharma. My daughter, Anika Sharma, is suffering from a serious illness and to save her we need an injection worth Rs 9 crore, which will have to be procured from America. We are organizing small camps to collect donations and till now we have collected Rs 4 crore 10 lakh. We are short of time. Yesterday during the India vs New Zealand match we tried to contact the cricketers in the hope of help. We also organized a donation camp during the match, but it was not enough. I was trying to meet Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma because they have been helping children. In a desperate attempt to save my child, I went to the hotel where Rohit Sharma was staying. I could not control my emotions and I held his hand.
The woman apologized for her actions
In a new video released on social media, the woman has apologized for her behaviour. Also requested for help from Virat Kohli. In her clarification, the woman further said that she had not gone there to take a selfie. She just wanted to save her child’s life.
The woman said, “I also want to apologize to the officials for my actions.” I couldn’t understand anything else. I request Virat and Rohit that if they get my message, please help me.
