South Africa’s head coach Shukri Conrad is eyeing a ‘clean sweep’ for India by winning the second Test match to be played in Guwahati.
After 15 years, the South African team has won a test match in India. Now the head coach of the visiting team is eyeing to win the series. Let us tell you that the second test match between India and South Africa will be played in Guwahati from 22nd November. Team India would like to win this test and draw the series.
The work is not done yet – Shukri Konrad
Before this match, Shukri Conrad said, “It was a huge achievement for us. To come to India and play at Eden Gardens and do something which we have not done for 15 years. It is a huge achievement. We won a Test match in Pakistan, now we have won a Test match here too, but the work is not done yet. You don’t come to any country to win a Test match, you want to win a series.”
We never give up – South African coach
Konrad said, “I am very proud of this team because the players have confidence. They play together as a unit. It will be wonderful for our mentality and for us in the future. However, we do not have the ability that many teams have, or we have not yet used that ability. Yet what we lack, we make up for in our ability to play as a unit. We never give up.”
