Meanwhile, American Senator (MP) Lindsey Graham has threatened Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He said that if Iranian security forces continue killing protesters, US President Donald Trump may order the killing of Supreme Leader Khamenei.
There have been massive demonstrations in Shia-dominated Iran for more than a week over inflation and currency decline. Meanwhile, the Iranian regime has taken a strict stance to suppress the protests. More than 35 protesters have been killed so far. There are reports of security forces firing on protesters at many places.

American MP Lindsey Graham openly threatened the Iranian leader during a TV interview. He has asked Iran to immediately stop action against the protesters. Addressing Iran’s top religious leadership, Senator Graham said that if you keep killing people who are demanding a better life, Donald Trump will kill you. He further said that the leaders of Tehran should take Trump very seriously.

Graham warned Iran’s Islamic regime that using dangerous force against protesters would invite retaliation and force the United States to take action. The American lawmaker emphasized that America will not tolerate violent repression and gave a warning citing the example of Venezuela.

There are reports of clashes between protesters and security forces in different parts of the country. In a viral video from the western city of Abdanan, a crowd was seen marching and the protesters were shouting slogans like Down with Khamenei, which is very shocking in Iran.
