Let us tell you that while talking to Times Now News, Shefali told that a girl used to punch her in school. Shefali told that she was made fun of because of her appearance. The actress said, “When you are growing up, I am not talking about your parents, but in general, you are told that you are not beautiful. I was bullied a lot in school. No one liked me. There was a girl who used to beat me a lot. She used to call me ‘Telu’. If you become thin, you will look great. It used to happen a lot.”
Shefali To don’t like compliments
The actress also told that she does not like compliments. She said, “…I don’t like my looks. I don’t think I’ll ever be that thin. I never will be. It’s very rare that I look at myself and say, ‘Oh! I look good’. But I don’t feel that way. When someone compliments me and says, ‘You look beautiful’, I can’t take a compliment.”
Shefali was molested on the road in childhood
In the year 2023, while talking to News18, Shefali had also told about the molestation she faced on the road. She had said, “I remember facing this when I was very young, and I was in the market on my way back from school. And I couldn’t do anything. I was very small and scared, and no one helped me. I mean, there was a crowd, but that’s no excuse, but I think almost all women have faced this at some point.”
