The weather of the country is going to change once again amidst the pink cold. There is a possibility of cloudy sky in Delhi and surrounding areas today (Tuesday (November 4)). According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), light rain may also occur at many places in the capital. Fog will be seen in the morning and evening in Uttar Pradesh, although the weather will remain clear during the day. Talking about the mountains, it is now getting cold in Uttarakhand.
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning saying that a new western disturbance will affect the western Himalayan region from November 4. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands today due to the formation of low pressure area over East-Central Bay of Bengal and Myanmar coast. According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of storm has been issued in some parts of Gujarat, Marathwada and Maharashtra till November 5. There are chances of heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today.
How will the weather be in Delhi NCR?
The weather may become pleasant in Delhi NCR from today, because the effect of western disturbance will become visible. Light rain is forecast on 4-5 November. Whereas on November 6 the weather will be normal. There will be a slight drop in temperature once again after 7-8 November. At present, the maximum and minimum temperatures of Delhi NCR do not seem to be changing till 8th November.
Talking about Uttar Pradesh, today there is fog in many districts of Eastern UP in the morning. Light mist or fog may be visible even at night. The minimum temperature may drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the coming days. In the last 24 hours, the weather has been dry in both the divisions of UP.
Shadow fog in UP, mercury will drop
According to the information received from the Zonal Meteorological Center of Lucknow, on November 4, fog will be seen in the morning in the adjoining districts of Eastern UP including Varanasi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Basti, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Rae Bareli, whereas in Western UP today the weather is going to be dry.
The Meteorological Department has kept all 75 districts of UP in the green zone on November 5. The weather is going to be similar on 6th and 7th November also. Banaras Hindu University meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that in the next 48 hours, a decrease of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius can be seen in the minimum temperature in many districts of UP. The maximum temperature will be around 31 and minimum 18 degrees Celsius. No significant change is expected in the weather today in other districts of UP including Ghaziabad, Mathura, Kanpur, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Aligarh, Rampur, Bareilly.
Chances of snowfall in the mountains
There is a possibility of increase in cold in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Due to this, there will be increase in cold in the plains also. There are chances of snowfall in high altitude areas on Tuesday and Wednesday. Light rain may occur in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts on 4-5 November. There is a possibility of snowfall in the mountainous areas at an altitude of more than 4000 meters.
