According to the information received from the Zonal Meteorological Center of Lucknow, on November 4, fog will be seen in the morning in the adjoining districts of Eastern UP including Varanasi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Basti, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Rae Bareli, whereas in Western UP today the weather is going to be dry.

The Meteorological Department has kept all 75 districts of UP in the green zone on November 5. The weather is going to be similar on 6th and 7th November also. Banaras Hindu University meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that in the next 48 hours, a decrease of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius can be seen in the minimum temperature in many districts of UP. The maximum temperature will be around 31 and minimum 18 degrees Celsius. No significant change is expected in the weather today in other districts of UP including Ghaziabad, Mathura, Kanpur, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Aligarh, Rampur, Bareilly.

Chances of snowfall in the mountains
There is a possibility of increase in cold in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Due to this, there will be increase in cold in the plains also. There are chances of snowfall in high altitude areas on Tuesday and Wednesday. Light rain may occur in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts on 4-5 November. There is a possibility of snowfall in the mountainous areas at an altitude of more than 4000 meters.
