Interested candidates can apply online for this exam. The last date for application has been fixed on 2 October 2025. After this, candidates will also get a chance to improve the application, which will be from 6 October to 8 October 2025. For this recruitment, candidates can apply through the steps given here.
A total of 1794 posts will be filled through this recruitment campaign. The exam will be held on 16 November 2025. Paper-1 will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Paper-2 will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This examination will be taken at the prescribed examination centers across the state.
Candidates applying for this recruitment must have National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). This certificate should be issued by the National Council for Training and Vocational Trade. These include electrician, wireman and electrical trade.
The age of the candidate should be at least 18 years by 1 July 2025 and the maximum age is 32 years. However, the candidates of reserved classes will be given age discounts as per the rules of the government.
The examination fee has been kept at Rs 100. Candidates will have to submit this fee while filling the application. However, some categories of candidates may also get a discount in fee. Candidates can take help of the official site for more details.
Candidates will first have to visit TNPSC’s official website tnpsc.gov.in. Click on CTS (ITI Level) – II Application Link given on the homepage there. After this, the application process will have to be completed by registering yourself. Fill all the information sought carefully and pay the application fee. After submitting the application, take out the print out and keep it safe.
