Dr. Saurabh Sethi, who is a graduate from Stanford and Harvard, is quite popular on social media to advise health and fitness. His recently posted video has gone viral on Instagram and has been viewed millions of times. In this video, he told that to keep the heart healthy, we should immediately avoid four things. Stress
According to Dr. Sethi, frequent stress is one of the biggest problems of the heart. Excess stress can increase blood pressure and in a long time it can weaken the heart. Therefore, it is important to maintain balance in everyday life. Meditation, deep breathing or light exercise can help reduce stress.
Bad Sleep Cycle
It is harmful to the heart, not taking good sleep or sleeping at irregular time at night. Not getting enough sleep increases pressure on blood vessels and stress increases on the heart. Dr. Sethi says that gold and 7β8 hours of sleep between 10 am and 11 pm are most beneficial for the heart.
Physical inactivity
Nowadays, physical activity has become very low in many of our works. Staying inactive for a long time increases the risk of obesity, high cholesterol and heart disease. The doctor says that it is very important to keep the heart healthy daily, such as walk, stretching or jogging.
Polluted environment
Dr. Sethi said that the polluted air is also very harmful for the heart and it can cause harm as smoking. He advised to use air purifiers in the house and car so that the air is clean and the heart is protected.
The doctor said, βIt is very important to avoid these four things for a healthy heart. If you stay away from stress, poor sleep, physical inactivity and polluted environment, then your heart health will be better.β Heart health is made not just by taking medicines, but by adopting the right lifestyle.
