The 17th edition of the Cricket Asia Cup will be played in the UAE between September 9 and September 28. A total of 19 matches will be played in the tournament between 8 teams including India, Pakistan. Under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, the BCCI has announced a 15 -member team. Shubman Gill has been elected vice -captain. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have not been selected in Pakistan’s Asia Cup team.
A total of 8 teams will play in the Asia Cup 2025. The first group will be compared to the stage. 8 teams are divided into 2 groups in 4-4 teams. Each team will play 1-1 matches (total 3) with all the teams of their group, after which the top 2-2 teams of both groups will qualify in Super 4 and the journey of the rest of the teams will end.
All the teams reaching Super 4 will play 1-1 matches with other 3 teams. After this, there will be a title in Dubai on September 28 between the top 2 teams. Know which teams are yet to be announced in the Asia Cup 2025.
