What is the motive behind the No Helmet No Petrol Campaign?

The state government said that the purpose of this campaign is not to punish but to motivate citizens to take steps for their security and to take steps for their safety.

Transport Commissioner Brijesh Narayan Singh said, “This campaign is not a punishment but a resolution of security. This campaign will run from September 1 to 30. There is an appeal to all citizens, petrol pump operators and oil companies to give full support in it. Make a rule to ‘helmet first, fuel later’, because wearing a helmet is the simplest insurance of life. ”

Earlier last year, the government issued similar instructions and refused to give petrol to those who run without helmets. The government’s effort is that through this campaign, people should be encouraged and aware to install helmets while traveling from two wheelers.
