A statement by a police officer of Sambhal Police has created a stir in the political circles, Sambhal CO Kuldeep Kumar said in the peace committee meeting, “Some people are beating their chests for Iran that Iran has been killed, if it is so much then go away Iran. If that quarrel has an impact on the law and order in our country then we will give the best treatment.” AIMIM spokesperson Shadab Chauhan has expressed strong objection to the statement of Sambhal CO.
AIMIM spokesperson Shadab Chauhan said, “A video of Sambhal CO’s peace meeting is going viral, in which he is threatening the Muslims in a way.” AIMIM spokesperson Shadab Chauhan said, “His (Sambhal CO) job is to ensure that the law is followed. If any person takes the law into his hands, then file a case and take legal action.”
‘Since when did the CO open a travel agency?’
AIMIM spokesperson Shadab Chauhan said, “Who should beat their chest and go to Iran, since when did they open a travel agency and sit down? How will they decide who should express which grief?” He has asked, “Is this banned in the Constitution or has the Government of India issued any guidelines on this?”
AIMIM spokesperson Shadab Chauhan said, “Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar himself met the Major of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after his martyrdom, I myself on behalf of AIMIM met his (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) Major, so have we become traitors?”
‘In which section is it a crime to express grief?’
He has raised the question, “Is it a crime under which section to express grief over the death of the supreme leader of a country?”. He has also said that there are many good people in the police, but some people misuse the law to gain popularity.
He said, “For such people, Ambedkar ji had said that no matter how good a law is made, if the people implementing it are bad, it will prove to be bad in the end.” He said that, we are people who believe in the Constitution and AIMIM opposes any unconstitutional language or indecent language and misuse of law. If someone takes law into his hands, immediate action can be taken and a case can be registered against him.
‘Crime control is the work of khaki’
He said, who are you (Sambhal CO) to say what the Prime Minister of the country does not say, the government of the country does not say, the Chief Minister of the state does not say. He also said that the job of Khaki is to enforce the law, control crime and take legal action. The Constitution allows one to express one’s views. If someone does something beyond the limits then you can file a case.
