Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah from Madhubani district of Bihar on Tuesday (August 26, 2025). During the Vote Rights Yatra in Madhubani, Rahul Gandhi accused Amit Shah of stealing votes. He said that Amit Shah has repeatedly said that the BJP government in the country is going to stay for the next several years.
Rahul Gandhi said in a public meeting in Madhubani, “A few years ago Amit Shah gave a statement and not once did not give many times that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government will run 50 years and I was thinking how this man knows this thing. How can Amit Shah constantly say that we will rule 40-50 years. How can a leader know the mood of the public after so many years. It can be said that they are stolen, because they can say that they are stolen. The election came to hear about vote theft. But I did not have evidence. “
He said, “This vote theft was started with Gujarat. They have been doing it from Gujarat. After 2014, they started to be selected everywhere on the national level, due to which these people are winning and defeating us. Earlier I did not have proof of this. I did not lie on the stage, I felt that I felt something wrong, then I thought that I would not get proofs until I would get proofs, then I will not say proof now.”
Changed way to choose election commissioner- Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi said, “These people first change the date of election.
