While talking to Divyendu Sharma on screen, Radhika Apte said- ‘I did some South Indian films because I was in great need of money. The thing is that very good films are made there too, especially in South India. I am not saying South Indian films are one-sided because great films are made in every industry. But I had to face a lot of difficulties in some films.

‘They wanted to put more padding on my bum and breasts…’
Radhika Apte narrates an incident during the shooting of one of her South films. She says- ‘I remember that during the shooting of a film, when we were in a small town, I realized that I was the only woman on the set. He wanted to put more padding on my bum and breasts. He used to tell me to add more padding Amma! And I wondered how much padding? How many more goals will you make someone? So I told the director no padding. I was the only female! I had no manager, no agent, the entire team was men! Then for the first time I realized that oh my goodness.
