The girl from a Punjabi family who was weaving dreams on the streets of Ambala, has today become Bollywood’s most favorite heroine, her name is Parineeti Chopra. Born on 22 October 1988 in a middle class Punjabi family of Ambala, Parineeti never thought that she would become the queen of the silver screen. His life has been a beautiful example of hard work and dedication since the beginning.

After schooling in Ambala, he took a degree in marketing from Manchester Business School, London. His dream was to become an investment banker, but fate had other plans. After completing her studies in London, she was quite confident about her future and was not inclined towards films at all.

Parineeti’s entry into Bollywood is not just a career story, but it is a unique stroke of fate which completely changed her streamlined life plan. While thousands of young people want to enter the world of acting with dreams in their eyes, Parineeti’s eyes were fixed on the financial market of London.

He graduated with a triple honors degree in finance and economics and intended to become a major investment banker. But the global economic recession that occurred in 2009 closed the doors of jobs in the banking sector. This was an unexpected turn in his career, which changed the direction of his life.

Seeing her dreams locked, Parineeti returned to India. Here, with the help of her cousin Priyanka Chopra, she started her internship in the marketing and PR department of Yash Raj Films (YRF). This step proved to be the turning point of his career, because his real film journey started from here.

Parineeti once told that she had no interest in acting. According to him, he felt that it was only a matter of make-up and show off. But fate brought him to a place where he had never imagined of seeing himself in front of the camera.

While working at YRF, the casting director of the studio, seeing his personality, jokingly asked him to give a dummy audition. Parineeti took it seriously and recorded some dialogues of Kareena Kapoor’s character Geet in the film Jab We Met. Little did anyone know that this prank would become the biggest opportunity of his life.

That informal audition tape reached Aditya Chopra. He was so impressed by Parineeti’s natural energy and talent that he immediately removed her from the marketing sector and offered her a three-film contract for acting. He clearly said, “Your real place is in front of the camera, not behind it.”

After this, in the year 2011, Parineeti started acting with ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’. Despite being in a sporting role, she left her mark and won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress in the same year. The very next year, ‘Ishaqzaade’ established her as the new star of Bollywood, for which she received the National Film Award (Special Mention).

Today Parineeti Chopra is not just an actress but a symbol of inspiration. His story tells that the direction of life can change at any time, you just need the courage to accept it. The girl who dreamed of becoming an investment banker is today counted among the most favorite and talented actors of Bollywood, and this journey is still going on.
