India remains the fourth most powerful military power in the world in the ranking of Global Firepower Military Index 2026. This ranking is based on more than 60 factors including the number of armies, tanks, fighter jets, navy, military budget in a country. Russia’s enemy country has taken a huge leap in this list, while Pakistan has once again been exposed in the world due to its poor ranking.

Russia remains at second position in the Global Firepower Military Index 2026. Despite being involved in the war with Ukraine, there was no decline in Russia’s power. It has taken a huge leap from Moscow’s enemy Germany. Germany will be ranked 19th in 2024 and 18th in 2025. In 2026, this country took a huge leap and achieved 12th position.
Pakistan’s ranking in this report remained worse than before. Pakistan will come to 9th place in 2024, 12th in 2025 and 14th in 2025. The biggest reason for the poor ranking of the neighboring country was Operation Sindoor started by India. In May last year, India carried out missile and air strikes inside Pakistan, which caused damage to Pakistan’s air defense and bases. After this defeat, Pakistan’s ranking fell and Germany took its place.
