According to Harun India Rich List 2025, Arista Networks Chairperson and CEO Jayshree Ullal has left behind both Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella in terms of earnings and has become the world’s richest executive of Indian origin.
Who is Indian origin CEO Jayshree Ullal?
According to Harun India Rich List, Jayshree Ullal now tops the list of top executives of Indian origin in the technology sector in terms of wealth. She is a British citizen of Indian origin and has been leading Arista Networks for the last 17 years. Currently she lives in Santa Clara, California, USA, where the headquarters of Arista Networks is also located. The company designs cloud networking, high-speed switches, and software-defined networking solutions that are widely used in large data centers, cloud service providers, and enterprise office networks.
The continuous strong performance of Arista Networks is a major reason behind the sharp increase in Jayshree Ullal’s wealth. In the era of increasing demand for cloud computing and data centers, the company focused specifically on software-based networking solutions, due to which both its business and share value grew rapidly. This is the reason why Jayshree Ullal’s net worth has seen a significant rise in the last few years.
How did the big jump in wealth happen?
Talking about educational background, Jayashree Ullal did her early studies from the prestigious Jesus and Mary Convent School in Delhi. After this she went to America, where she obtained a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Francisco University. He later obtained an MSc degree in Engineering from Santa Clara University in 1986 and also obtained a Doctorate degree in Engineering.
Jayshree Ullal joined Arista Networks in September 2008 and has been the CEO of the company since then. Under his leadership, the company created a strong identity in the field of cloud and high-performance networking. Prior to Arista, she held senior positions at several large technology companies, including Cisco Systems, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Fairchild Semiconductor. While working in these companies, he gained a deep understanding of software, hardware and large-scale network systems, which he successfully leveraged to make Arista Networks a leading company globally.
