He told that he auditioned for Imtiaz Ali’s directed film ‘Laila Majnu’ in the year 2018, in which Trupti was the lead actress. Avinash Tiwari finally got the role of the film’s lead hero Cass Bhatt, but Siddhant also reached the final round for this character.

Siddhant further stated that he was only 22 years old at that time, while the makers of the film ‘Laila Majnu’ wanted a cast with a little mature face of 25-26 years. During that time, he also increased his beard and went to Pune and got a photoshoot done. Although he could not get that role, but later Avinash got a chance to work in the web series ‘Inside Edge’.

In the film, Siddhant is playing Nilesh’s character and will be seen playing the role of Trupti method.
