Former U19 Batter Aadarsh Singh Hit Double Century: Uttar Pradesh’s explosive opener Adarsh Singh has created history by scoring a double century. He played this brilliant innings in the quarter-final 2 match of Men’s Under-23 State A Trophy Elite at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Adarsh reached 100 to 200 in just 26 balls
Adarsh Singh has played Under-19 Men’s World Cup for India in 2024. This young batsman played a stormy innings of 223 unbeaten runs in 138 balls, in which 18 sixes and 14 fours were hit with his bat. He did not start his innings in a stormy manner and scored his half-century in 67 balls and completed his century in 103 balls. After this, young opener Adarsh took only 26 balls to complete his double century.
Adarsh and Swastik made a century partnership
Young batsmen Adarsh Singh and Swastik Chikara made an opening partnership of 113 runs in 16.2 overs. Batting in a dynamic style, Swastik scored 73 runs in 58 balls, in which he hit 8 fours and 5 sixes. Adarsh Singh scored 238 runs in seven innings of the Under-19 World Cup at an average of 34, which included two half-centuries. In the final against Australia, he scored 47 runs in 77 balls. However, India had to face defeat by 79 runs in the final. Adarsh was India’s top scorer in the final.
