Chaos is increasing in Bangladesh
Violence is happening against Hindus every day in Bangladesh. Recently, violent protests in Bangladesh have led to attacks on many Hindu individuals. These protests erupted after the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, the organizer of the July Uprising in Singapore. A 25-year-old Hindu man died on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, when he jumped into the canal to escape the crowd. The mob had accused him of theft. According to news agency ANI, Mithun Sarkar, a resident of Bhandarpur village, was chased by the local people on suspicion of theft.
At the same time, on Monday, January 5, 2026, Rana Pratap Bairagi, a Hindu businessman and acting editor of a newspaper, was shot dead in Jashore district. On the same day, Sharat Mani Chakraborty, a 40-year-old Hindu grocery shopkeeper, was also murdered. Now another horrific incident is coming to light, in which a 44-year-old Hindu woman was allegedly gang-raped by two men and after that, both of them tied the woman to a tree and also cut her hair.
