Actually, this film is the recently released psychological drama film ‘The Girlfriend’ starring Rashmika Mandanna, Dhikshit Shetty and Anu Emmanuel. Originally made in Telugu, this film is also available in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada on streaming platforms.
Let us tell you that this film written and directed by Rahul Ravindran was released in theaters on 7 November. It received positive response from the audience. ‘The Girlfriend’ is the story of Bhuma Devi (Rashmika Mandanna), who goes to Hyderabad to pursue MA in Literature. In college she meets Vikram (Dhikshit) and falls in love with him. Her life takes a turn when she realizes that she is trapped in a toxic relationship from which she cannot escape. When she decides to leave him, he pressures her to stay, which harms her overall health.
