Today this unit is so powerful and mysterious that the information about its operation does not make public even public.
According to reports, SAS started in the year 1941, when British officer David Sterling made it stand as a small regiment during World War II. At that time, its aim was to go behind the boundaries of the enemies and take guerrilla action. Initially, this force had only 5 officers and 60 soldiers, but his bravery soon caught the attention of the whole world.
Already when many soldiers were killed in the mission, then it felt that this unit would fail. But in the very next operation, SAS destroyed 60 aircraft by attacking three airports of the enemy. This success made this force the backbone of the British Army.

The real task of SAS is not to fight any common war, but intelligence missions, to free hostage from gunmen, to eliminate terrorist organizations and run an operation within the boundaries of enemies. This force is so secret that the information of its operations does not reach the general public or the media. The British Ministry of Defense and the government also do not make public comments on any mission of SAS.

The entire operation of this mission was broadcast on Live TV, and the whole world saw the great strategy and bravery of SAS soldiers. Only two hostages were killed, while the rest were taken out safely. After this, SAS’s name became established as the world’s most influential special force.
SAS role in wars
SAS played an important role in Malaya, Oman, Follands, Afghanistan and Iraq wars. In secret missions, they enter into the boundaries of the enemy and gather information, destroy weapons and get rid of hostages.
