Javed Akhtar while talking to India Today said, ‘He had asked me to write songs for the film. But I had refused. I think this is creative bankruptcy. You have an old song which performed very well. Now you want to bring it again, in which you want to add something new? Make a new song or accept that you cannot work at that level. ‘
Javed Akhtar further said, ‘Whatever has happened, let it go. What is the need to recreate? If you are making a film again, create a new song. Why do you depend on previous songs? You must accept that you cannot. We can live with past success. Instead of relying on past success, create new memories.
